Our science staff and many of our students participated in three scientific and stewardship-related conferences since our last update.
Director of Land Management, Budd Veverka was invited to and attended the New York State Invasive Species Summit in Albany (November 16-17, 2021) where he was involved in a number of collaborative discussions on managing invasive species in New York.
Budd also planned and coordinated the Annual Meeting of the New York Chapter of The Wildlife Society in early March. His WTP mentee, Charlotte Klurfeld, gave a talk on her research as well.
MRG’s Director of Research and Education, Chris Nagy, will be giving two talks and moderating a lecture session at the Northeast Natural History Conference. Charlotte will be giving a lecture there as well.
