Spring is the best time to see some of the unique and beautiful plants and animals that make the Mianus River Gorge home.
Join Executive Director Rod Christie as we explore a property not open to the public because of its fragility. We will visit vernal pools perched high above the forest floor and ridgetops frequented by bobcats and other wildlife.
This will be an off-trail walk of about 1.5 – 2 miles through some up and down topography with uneven terrain.
