Gifts to The Anable Society are key to Mianus River Gorge’s mission to protect irreplaceable natural habitats for our community, wildlife, and future generations. The Society was established in memory of our founder, Gloria Anable, to honor those who have furthered the mission of the Mianus River Gorge by including a bequest to Mianus River Gorge in their will.

• You can designate Mianus River Gorge as a beneficiary in your will, living trust or other estate plan document. This sample language allows us to direct your gift as you prefer:

Life Insurance

• If you no longer need your life insurance policy, you can list the Gorge as the beneficiary.

IRA

• Naming the Gorge as a retirement plan beneficiary results in the Gorge receiving the full value of your retirement plan gift.
